She has spent the previous two seasons as our assistant coach, and she’s currently a NICU nurse at Shands! 🤍
While Jordan is so excited for the upcoming season, it is hard for her to pick one thing she loves about the UFCC program! She loves creating lifelong relationships with all of the individuals in the program and pushing them not only to be a great athlete but to be great in their professional and personal lives as well.
Coach Stark is a born and bred Gator! She was raised in Gainesville and she and her husband chose to stay close by after graduation from the University of Florida. Tiann Stark has been coaching cheer since 1995, starting with recreation cheer, then middle sideline and competitive cheer. In 2003, she began coaching at the high school level. She coached both sideline and competition cheer at the same high school for 18 years. Her team competed successfully in the FHSAA series for 13 years, qualifying for finals more times than not, including two state runner up placements, one in small all girl and one in small coed. She began taking her team to UCA nationals in 2016 and placed 2nd at nationals her last year of coaching high school. She is also a certified Varsity Allstar Judge amd has been traveling the country for eight years judging allstar competitions including Cheersport, NCA Nationals and UCA Nationals. In 2021, she transitioned to collegiate cheer. In her first year as the UF Club Cheer orange coach, she saw her team place third at NCA Nationals and is looking forward to this year! Her favorite part of working with the team is to be able to work with athletes at a variety of skill levels and bringing them together so they mesh as one while learning life skills that will ensure success as they move into the next chapter of their lives.
